Hyco Alabama is located in a modern 130,000 square foot facility. With our nearly 130 employees, we have a capacity to manufacture about 300 hydraulic cylinders per day. GLOBAL PURCHASING AND SUPPLY

As part of the Hyco International group, we are able to buy materials as part of a large purchasing entity taking advantage of international monetary fluctuations and worldwide metal and component supply. We are able to provide our customers with a one stop, global sourcing solution for hydraulic cylinders.

CAD/CAM

Hyco Alabama provides complete in-house CAD/CAM services to provide our customers with state of the art design and manufacturing methods. This enable us to quickly and cost effectively design a cylinder and send the exact details and requirements to the manufacturing floor.

ROBOTIC WELDING

Automated robotic systems give consistent and precise quality output. They enable our global CAD/CAM system to produce identical cylinders in any of our 6 manufacturing facilities around the world.

INERTIA WELDING

Our Inertia Welding capability gives our customers a high strength, inclusion free, perfect weld every time. This results in a stronger, tougher cylinder that outlasts our competition.

SKIVE ROLLER BURNISHING

Skive Roller Burnishing is yet another way we have improved the quality of our products. This is the best way to provide a cylinder barrel with a smooth hard inside diameter that will result in a longer service life.

Our Skive Roller Burnishing machines produce the closest tolerance inside diameters for cylinder barrels in the industry. This precision translates directly to performance and service life.

CHROMING

Our in-house chroming allows us to maintain strict quality control of this very crucial area of hydraulic cylinder piston rod manufacturing.  Because we do not out-source our chroming requirements, as many cylinder manufacturers do, we can offer better prices and faster deliveries.
